Mathematics is a crucial tool that helps us to connect with
the world and establish a relationship. It also helps in the development of
critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving ability which is important
for an individual to develop a personality. The areas where mathematical study
specializes are space, number, and measurement.
The word ‘mathematics’ is Greek in origin, and it means the
tendency to learn. Many branches of mathematics include statistics, algebra, geometry, and others. We are
surrounded by mathematics at every point in our lives like driving, cooking,
tracking, finances, banking, and many more. All these activities are based on
mathematical operations and cannot be performed without the involvement of
mathematics.

able to make a comparison of quantity of two items without numbers?
Will doctors be able to perform the medical test and produce

These are a few but important aspects where the work cannot
be done without involving numbers but there are many such examples and for good
or bad we cannot eliminate numbers from our lives.

Mathematics as a subject is complex to understand if the
basics are not strong because everything is correlated so one cannot skip any
part or take it casually. The subject requires dedication and continuous
practice as any gap or discontinuity may hamper the learning and understanding
of the concept. Usually, students find and approach mathematics as a difficult
subject but it is not the reality because the subject demands just regularity
and attention and if it is provided it may turn out as the easiest and
fun-loving subject.
The best way to approach any subject is to explore the
subject from the basics keeping all the notions behind. The other thing that we
must keep in our mind is that every subject is different so the methods used to
learn or understand those subjects will also be different so do not try to mug
up subjects like mathematics instead build the understanding. To form the
understanding, the use of puzzles and quizzes can be used and it will also make
learning fun. If all these methods and understanding are used for any subject,
learning itself will become easy and simple.
